8/366: A Bad Habit

For me, one of the most exciting perks of moving to California is frozen yogurt.

I grew up with TCBY.  Tart strawberry fro yo with sprinkles on top was my favorite.
By the time I was out of college, any type of frozen yogurt shop had pretty much disappeared from the Midwest.

Let's face it... the stuff at the store just doesn't cut it.  There is something about the tart soft serve version that can't be beat.

In California, it seems there is a shop no less than one mile from you at all times.  Even better.  The majority of them are serve your own, no less than 8 flavors to choose from, pay by the ounce, with a toppings bar filled of every kind of fruit, candy, cereal, and sprinkle you can imagine.

It's like choose your own adventure for your taste buds.

I love it all.  The tart, the sweet, the savory.
Sometimes with chocolate chips.
Sometimes with fruit.
Lately with coconut.
Always with Cap'n Crunch.
